Wow! It's been a crazy month here for us. Emma Grace had her first day of Kindergarten on August 14th; we had a new niece, Kaela, on August 11,and Chris was 32 on the 27th!!
Emma Grace loves school. Sometimes she's so excited she wakes up before her alarm clock goes off. She's riding the bus and loving that, too. It was hard for us to let her go, but she's so happy and having so much fun. She spent her summer having swimming lessons, cheer practice, and reading a lot. She's so big now, it's amazing to think that she was our little lump only 5 yrs. ago! Time flies!
William (2 1/2) is growing by leaps and bounds. He loves to look at books and is beginning to memorize his favorite stories. He's talking a lot more now and I think he like having mommy all to himself now that EG is at school. Still loves Baby Einstein, but now it has to compete with "shapes" (what he calls his blocks). He loved the pool this summer and loves to be outside. We'll be glad when it finally cools off so we can be out more.
Chris has had a busy summer at work. They gave him a laptop so he can do more work from home now, which is a good thing--especially when he has to run a project at 10pm! While visiting my grandparents in FL , he discovered golf, so he got clubs and accessories for his birthday.
Our new niece, Kaela, was born on 8/11 and she is cute as she can be! There are now 6 White cousins! We've been spending a lot of time in Columbus lately with showers, Kaela's arrival, and Chris' birthday.
We're looking forward to a nice relaxing Labor Day weekend (at least until FSU plays Miami on Monday!) since those kinds of weekends are few and far between. Keep in touch!
Go Noles! Go Huskers!!
