Full Fall
What didn't we do in November? I'll just write for now and send pics later b/c of technical difficulties. We've been offline for a while since our computer was fried out. The geek squad (uniform, car, and all) fixed us on Sunday. Sorry we've been a little behind lately.
EG's cheer gym won 1st place on each squad at our Nov. competition! Go Pixies! EG was so proud of herself and has quite a little round-off these days. She stunts like a champ and loves for the Sr. squad to throw basket tosses w/her and go all the way up! She won't be competing again until Jan. which is a nice break for us. She continues to flourish at school and is reading chapter books by herself now. Needless to say, we're pretty proud.
Will spent Thanksgiving sick, but is coming out of it now. He's a busy little guy. Loves the Christmas tree and is learning to sing Silent Night and Jingle Bells ("Jingy balls"). He's also learned to say "Bless you" and likes to fake cough to get you to say it to him. He loves school buses and thinks EG is on every school bus he sees. Nana and Opa gave him a "little people" bus and it's his favorite new toy.
We went to FL on the 3rd weekend in Nov. Will and mom went to see Papa and Grandma Doris, while Chris, EG, and I went to FSU homecoming! We had an absolute blast! We're proud to say that even though FSU had it's worst year ever, EG was ecstatic about everything. Hey, at least we won! She knows the fight song and got her picture taken w/some of the cheerleaders. She cheered, sang, and cheered some more. (pics to follow) What else is there in life except to meet Bobby himself? My sister, Megan joined us for the game. EG had tons of fun with her and it'll be even more exciting when Aunt Sarah's there next year! She's decided it's definitely where she's going to college. It brings a tear to your eye!
Thanksgiving was great. Dad, Jeanne, Sarah, Megan, and one of Meg's college friends, Sara, joined us for the holiday. We shopped, ate, and shopped some more! Will was sick but he was a real trooper. Chris and Dad visited the Chickamauga Civil War battlefield and had a great time there. It was great getting to spend time with them again. It was nice to be able to share our family time with someone new and she fit right in. We are very thankful for all of our families!
Now, we ready ourselves for Disney World!! We leave on Fri! Now we'll see if all our work to get ready for Christmas has been fruitful. We've seen Santa, we've seen lights, Christmas cards are out, 95% of baking is done, only a couple of gifts left to buy(at Disney) and boxes are about to go out. Did I forget anything? I'll have a short list of things to do when we get back. We'll be tired from the trip and we really want to sit back and focus on the real meaning of Christmas. I'll send pics probably tonight. (some need editing) and we'll update again hopefully after Disney! Until next time! The Whites
